Yesterday, Matt Cutts from Google announced the latest in the series of updates at Google under the “Panda” label. For a long time Google has been telling website owners and SEO companies that it is getting serious about the spammy techniques some websites have used to unfairly get high rankings, and this latest announcement sees this policy take on a much more agggressive tone.
Google is serving notice on SEO companies that a change is in the wind which will have a big impact. Sites which are OVER optimised will see a penalty to their search rankings. EEK!!
